About Us – UVFA

Our Mission

UVFA (United Voices for Animals) is a 501(c)(3) youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth to create change for animals in need. Our mission is to help stray animals and shelters that protect them through volunteering, community engagement, fundraising and raising awareness on pressing issues in animal welfare.

Our Story

UVFA began with a belief that every animal deserves care, kindness and a loving home. Founded in 2025 by a student turning compassion into action, it was planned to be an initiative to help local shelters. What began as one city’s project quickly grew into a nationwide student network. Today, UVFA brings students from different schools and states, to organize creative projects, from shelter partnerships to awareness campaigns.

What makes UVFA special is that it is entirely youth led. Every branch has the creative freedom to design unique projects, reflecting the needs of their community, whether it’s volunteer work or a holiday event.

Here at UVFA, our values are rooted in compassion, community, and creativity. We believe that every young person in the world has the opportunity to make a difference for animals in need. Each UVFA branch is built on collaboration and communication – connecting volunteers, shelters, and local communities to create real impact. We value inclusion at every level: regardless of your background, geographic location, or whether you own a pet or not, there is always a way to help, share, and advocate for animals.

We aim to create a world where every animal is loved, cared for, and valued. Our goal is to raise awareness on responsible pet care, supporting animals and shelters, and inspiring others through creative campaigns and educational outreach.
