Become a City Lead
Become a City or State Lead: Launch a Chapter
City Leads are the heart of UVFA’s local impact. As a City Lead, you’ll establish and manage an official UVFA branch in your city —building a team, leading volunteers, organizing community projects, and building partnerships with local shelters, animal hospitals, or schools. City Leads have the freedom to design unique initiatives that reflect their community’s needs, all while receiving support and recognition from the UVFA team. It’s a leadership role for students who want to take initiative and create lasting change for animals in their area.
Kindness Curriculum
Kindness Curriculum: Educational Outreach
The Kindness Curriculum is UVFA’s global educational outreach initiative. Through this program, volunteers visit local elementary, middle, and high schools to teach about responsible pet ownership, animal empathy, and community care. Students can host interactive lessons and presentations that make learning about animal welfare fun and memorable.
Tales of Tails Blog
Tales of Tails: Awareness Blog
Tales of Tails is our awareness blog where volunteers share stories, insights, and experiences. There we feature current animal welfare issues, post interviews of people working or volunteering with animals, share and inspire compassion for animals.
Ambassador Program
Ambassador Program
UVFA Ambassadors promote our mission in their schools, cities, or online communities. Ambassadors serve as advocates for animal welfare wherever they are. This role is perfect for students who want to get involved individually or introduce UVFA to their school before starting a full chapter.
